April 30th – May 4th

8:00 AM-2:00 PM  Monday – Friday

Late Registration Thursday,

May 3rd from 5:00 PM-6:30 PM.

Pre-Kindergarten Registration

For Pre-K, your child must be 4 years of age on or before September 1, 2018.

Prairie View Elementary is a Dual Language Pre-K campus in the morning (AM) and an English Pre-K campus in the afternoon (PM).

Prekindergarten appointments/registration will be held Monday, April 30, 2018 through Friday, May 4, 2018 for the 2018-2019 school year at Prairie View Elementary. Please make sure you have completed the enrollment process including the Prekindergarten application on the Northwest ISD website.  Please call the front office of Prairie View at 817-215-0550 for any questions.


Kindergarten Registration

For Kindergarten, your child must be 5 years of age on or before September 1, 2018. 

Kindergarten registration will be held Monday, April 30, 2018 through Friday, May 4, 2018 for the 2018-2019 school year at Prairie View Elementary. Please make sure you have completed the online application and enrollment process on the Northwest ISD website.  Please call the front office of Prairie View at 817-215-0550 for any questions.


You will need to bring the following documentation to your appointment:

  • Child's Official Birth Certificate (not hospital birth record). 
  • Child's Social Security Card
  • Parent's Driver's License
  • Updated Immunization Records
  • Verification of Residency - copy of a utility bill, lease agreement etc. that shows you live in Northwest ISD.
  • Income documentation for those qualifying through income eligibility (Current documentation for two to three months) from all working members of the household if qualifying by income.
  • For those qualifying as limited English, your child will need to attend the appointment for testing if qualifying as ELL.
  • Military ID or paperwork designating military status.
  • Homeless - Completed McKinney - Vento form.
  • Letter from DFPS or paperwork verifying that the child is or has ever been in the foster care system.
